Friday afternoon Carter Huyser competed in the 109th Drake Relays in the 800. After coming in seeded 13th, Carter ran a very good and tactical race, avoiding getting boxed in and also navigated through a two runner crash at the 600 mark to run to 7th place in a time of 1:59.46.
