2014 Advanced Feeders Project

Exhibitors with Advance Cattle Feeder Pens have been working extra hard to prepare their cattle for this year’s Southern Iowa Fair. 4-Hers have been working since December to feed their three head of cattle. Along with feeding their cattle, exhibitors had to keep monthly feed records and learn about the daily care of their feeder calves. The pens were weighed on Tuesday, July 15th, and interviews/conferences followed where they discussed what they learned with superintendents and Regional Director, Nathan Crane.
