Volunteers Welcome at the WPU Community Garden

William Penn University and local groups have joined together to plant a community garden. The community garden was first planted last spring as a way to connect the WPU community with area residents through the love and exploration of gardening. The dual-purpose project serves as a tool for learning how to grow your own fresh produce and as a service to the community; providing healthy food those who cannot afford to buy their own.

Every Thursday, at 6:30 in the evening, throughout the growing season, the university is asking for volunteers to gather together to maintain the plot by weeding or harvesting produce. Community members are invited and encouraged to participate. The garden is located between Rosenberger apartment building located on North E Street and Trueblood Avenue.
