Vera Mayer Trust Scholarship Awarded to Oskaloosa Resident from William Penn University

OSKALOOSA, Iowa— Carrie Kral of Oskaloosa, IA, a Senior at William Penn University, has been selected as a Vera Mayer Trust Scholar through the Iowa College Foundation, an organization which raises funds for its 23 member independent colleges in Iowa.
The estate of Mrs. Vera Mayer in 1983 established an endowed scholarship fund that provides scholarship assistance annually to all of Iowa College Foundation’s member colleges and universities. Mrs. Mayer, having no children of her own, wanted to assist worthy young people in achieving their dreams of attending college.
