(Oskaloosa, Iowa) –The square was buzzing with activity in Oskaloosa Friday night as Friday After Five again took to the streets. Backrow Hooligans, a trio from the Midwest, opened The Nadas. This was the second of four Friday After Five events planned for this summer by the Oskaloosa Area Chamber & Development Group.

The Nadas are a well-known Des Moines based group, special to Oskaloosa as drummer Brandon Stone is an Oskaloosa native. The group has almost 20,000 “Likes” on Facebook and plays many acts in a variety of settings, including local gigs such as Friday After Five as well as places like the Iowa State Fair.

While many locals turned out to this Friday After Five, there was also another crowd that made their way downtown – Oskaloosa High School alumni, some still residents, and others returning to visit for the summer. This Friday After Five invited all alumni back for a Friday to remember.

The next Friday After Five event is slated for July 6 featuring the Rich Webster Band. The band will play classic rock as well as current hits. The last Friday After Five this summer will feature Fatal Addiction, a hometown favorite that has played Friday After Five in the past.
