PELLA CHRISTIAN GRADE SCHOOL ANNOUNCES MR BEN DIRKSEN AS PRINCIPAL

[PELLA, IA] The Pella Christian Grade School Board is pleased to announce that Mr. BenDirksen has been selected as Principal of Pella Christian Grade School. Mr. Dirksen has over10 years of Christian education experience in addition to attending Christian schools and Dordt University. He was selected from a talented candidate pool and we are thankful to the PCGS Principal Transition Team for their work reviewing applications and interviewing candidates. Mr. Dirksen will officially start as principal on July 1.
Dirksen has taught and coached at Denver Christian school for the last 12 years, serving as middle school math, science, Bible, and PE teacher while coaching all levels of soccer and basketball.
Dirksen has a lifelong and cherished experience with Christian education and looks forward to serving in the leadership role at Pella Christian Grade School. When asked about his faith he said, “My relationship with theLord is deeply personal and foundational. He gives me purpose, love, hope and enables me to look up and look out. He gives me the ability to truly see others and He loves them through me.”
When not at school, Dirksen can be found sharing meals with friends, reading, golfing, and flyfishing.
