Oskaloosa Water Department Announces New General Manager

The Oskaloosa Municipal Water Board of Trustees are pleased to announce the hiring of Kelly Hefner as the Department’s new General Manager of Water and Sewer. Hefner, from Harrisburg, IL will officially begin work for Department on July 8, 2019. The Board made the decision to hire Hefner after concluding an extensive recruitment process that included a community tour, a public meet and greet, and interviews with Board and community members. Hefner brings more than 20 years of municipal government experience in water, sewer, and public works to the Department, most recently serving as the Stormwater/Sewer Supervisor with the city of Cape Girardeau, MO, and as the Superintendent of Public Works for the city of Harrisburg, IL.
