Oskaloosa Girls Golf Posts Season-Best 18-Hole Score at Mt. Pleasant Invitational

Mt. Pleasant, Iowa — The Oskaloosa girls golf team delivered its best 18-hole team performance of the season Friday, finishing 4th out of 7 teams at the Mt. Pleasant Invitational with a team score of 410. On a day with mild weather and light rain at times, the Indians overcame a shaky start to produce a strong finish and show continued momentum.

Rian Allman and Hayden McCain led the way for Oskaloosa, each carding rounds of 101 — just one stroke away from breaking into the 90s. Gracie DeRonde followed closely with a 102, while Leah Cohrt contributed a 106 and Kamryn Maddy added a 110 to round out the varsity scoring.
