NM Archery Teams Place Well

North Mahaska’s archery team competed at Eddyville and Cardinal this weekend. At Eddyville, the Warhawk high school team was second in Bullseye and 3D. They were first in 3D at Cardinal and placed third in Bullseye. The junior high team was third in both at Eddyville while placing third in 3D and fourth in Bullseye at Cardinal.

In Bullseye competition, Jacob Held placed third in high school boys while Stacia Dunnick won a shootout for second. Shawn Cooper was third in 3D and Morgan Schippers placed third.

Amrik placed third to lead the middle school boys.

Dunnick had a 50-point round at Cardinal in Bullseye. Liam Groenenboom placed third. Schippers led the girls in 3D at Cardinal placing first with Dunnick in second. Schippers, Dunnick and Elise Westercamp each had 50-point rounds.

Groenenboom took first for the junior high boys, which placed third in 3D.
