Local competitive skeet shooter earns All American honors

Emma Van Donselaar of Oskaloosa has been named to the NSSA/SCTP All American Skeet Team.

Van Donselaar averaged a target hit percentage of 92.6 for registered NSSA competitive targets in the 2017 season.

Emma is a 2017 graduate of Pella Christian High School and has competed on the PC Eagles Clay Target Team since she was in 8th grade. Emma now attends Simpson College where she is a member of the Simpson Storm Shooting Sports team.

The NSSA is the National Skeet Shooting Association, founded in 1928 is the governing and sanctioning body for skeet in the United States. The SCTP is the Scholastic Clay Target Program, a national organization that dedicated to clay target sports for students in elementary school through college.
