Jeffrey Alan Krizer

Jeffrey “Jeff” Alan Krizer
September 11, 1961 – December 30, 2023
Delta, Iowa | Age 62

We announce with deep sorrow the passing of Jeffrey Alan Krizer, known to all as Jeff, on December 30, 2023, at the age of 62. Jeff was born on September 11, 1961, in Oskaloosa, IA, to Gerald and Bessie Krizer.

Jeff lived an adventurous and fulfilling life. He was a resident of Delta, Iowa for 20 years, a place he loved and called home. Jeff was a dedicated factory worker in the foundry for eight years, but his passion for meticulous and perfectionist work was truly displayed during his 20 plus years in concrete construction.

Jeff had a love for fishing and collecting, hobbies that brought him great joy. However, what mattered most to Jeffrey was his family.

Jeff and his beloved wife Molly were married on October 26, 1982. Jeffrey was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Jeff was a man who lived by the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, “The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” Jeff’s life was a testament to this belief. He lived well, worked hard, and cherished his family.

Jeff is survived by his wife Molly; their children, Cory and Stefany; and their grandchildren, Erica Bethune, Charles Knowler, and Cora Krizer.

He was preceded in death by his father Gerald Krizer, mother Bessie Krizer, and sister-in-law Rose Krizer.

Jeff has been cremated with no formal services planned.
Memorials may be directed to the family and mailed to Molly Krizer, 19773 120th ave, Delta, Iowa 52550.
