Jeff Shannon

Jeff Shannon, 48, of Oskaloosa formerly of Sigourney died February 14, 2011 at the Mahaska County Hospital. He was born October 27, 1962 to Raymond Patrick and Rose Mary Merz Shannon in Sigourney. He graduated from Sigourney High School in 1981. In 1983 he married Michelle Scharf, they later divorced. He was employed at Anderson Erickson Dairy for the last fifteen years. He was an avid Jeff `Gordon NASCAR race fan.

He was preceded in death by his brother Tim Shannon.

He is survived by his sons Logan Shannon of Ames, Tadd and Conner Shannon of Oskaloosa, his parents Pat and Rose Mary Shannon of Sigourney, three brothers Rick and his wife Carol Shannon of New Virginia, Terry and his wife Sue Shannon of Ottumwa, Randy and his wife Karen Shannon of Glenrock, Wyoming, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friday 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Holm Funeral Home
