Grinnell’s McNitt is MWC Baseball Player of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Quinton McNitt ’21 has been named the Midwest Conference Baseball Player of the Week.
McNitt, a second baseman from Gainesville, Fla. (Buchholz), helped Grinnell get out to a 3-0 start in MWC South Division play over the weekend. He hit .667 as the Pioneers knocked off Cornell College three times.
McNitt was 8-of-12 at the plate with four RBIs, four runs scored, a double and sacrifice fly. He also had four putouts and four assists in nine chances in the field.
The Pitcher of the Week is Monmouth College’s Tyler McDonald.
