Five Indians Compete At State Pentathlon

by Wendy Van Roekel

Five gutsy Indian Track and Field Athletes competed at today’s State Pentathlon at Central College. Kudos to these athletes for stepping outside the box, pushing themselves and having fun! In the Senior Girls Division, Emma Kelderman finished with a 4th Place medal and 2383 Points. In the Senior Boys Division, Jaden Van Roekel just missed grabbing a medal, finishing in 11th place with 2710 Points (5 points shy of a medal). Brooke Allen (17th) and Marleigh Denburger (19th) also competed in the Senior Girls Division and Dylan Van Leuven (22nd) in the senior Boys Division. Great job today, Oskaloosa Indians!
