Diana was born July 28, 1958, in Fairfield, Iowa, the daughter of O. Dean Cary and Doris E. McIntire Cary. She graduated from Pekin Community High School with the class of 1976. She was united in marriage to Jerry Gott, April 2, 1977, at the Ollie Baptist Church. Early on Diana was employed at Dexter Corporation. Later she was a homemaker and spent her time being what she enjoyed the most a full time Mom. After her children were raised Diana began working at Gentry Insurance of Ollie and was currently employed there at the time of her passing. She enjoyed playing the piano at church, flowers, photography but her main love was her husband, children and especially their grandchildren. Diana was a member of the Ollie Baptist Church. She was a three time Cancer Survivor. She beat her cancer with a positive attitude, strong faith, fantastic medical care, and the support of her family and friends. She was known for showing people how much they meant to her by sending cards, letters, and making phone calls, and most recently texting; for all occasions. She is survived by her husband Jerry Gott of Ollie, sons, Ryan (Stephanie) Gott, and Aaron Gott all of Green Bay, Wisconsin, a daughter, April (Eric) Walker of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, four grandchildren, Emma, Ava and Grady Gott and Brecken Walker. A sister, Becky (Steve) Turner of Fairfield, a brother, Pastor Danny (Laura) Cary of Fairfield, her mother-in-law, Betty Gott of Ahwatukee, Arizona, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be made in her name to either the Ollie Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
