Oskaloosa, Iowa – Cargill in Eddyville recently donated $14,239 to the community on Tuesday. The funds raised by a golf tournament in July were matched by Cargill and will go towards United Way’s Operation Backpack/Back to School Fair and to the Mahaska County Homelessness Coalition.

Mahaska County United Way Director Amy Meyer said, “Without a large amount of support from business and individuals, we would not be able to continue to make sure Mahaska County students have all they need to be ready for school each year.”
