Blustery Conditions Don’t Stop A Solid Performance
The Oskaloosa High School Girls Coach Betsy Luck spoke about the teams 2nd place effort in Knoxvile. “In very blustery conditions the girls competed at a very high level and came home with a second place team finish. Emma Kelderman was the individual champion in both the high jump and the 400 hurdles. Two personal records were set by Leah Wilcox in the 3000m run and Andrea Arellano in the 200m dash. The 4×200 of Brooke Allen, Emma Kelderman, Anna Jones and Savannah Wiltse set a season best.”
“The meet conditions were tough but all of the girls stepped up. All of the coaches are very proud of the efforts today. The teams next meet is on Tuesday at Fairfield.”
