Auditor Says Ballots For General Election Available October 8th

Susan L. Brown, Mahaska County Auditor, announces that absentee ballots for the General Election to be held November 6th will be available in the Auditor’s Office on Monday, October 8th.

The first day to vote absentee in the office is Monday, October 8. Auditor’s Office is open daily from 8:00 A.M. until 4:30 P.M., Monday thru Friday. The last day to vote absentee in the office is Monday, November 5th. Monday, October 8 is the first day that absentee ballots will be mailed to voters. Saturday, October 27 is the last day to request an absentee ballot be mailed. The Auditor’s Office will be open Saturday, November 3rd, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for absentee voting.
