Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force

On June 19th, 2017 at approximately 12:45 a.m. members of the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force with the assistance of the Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office and the Oskaloosa Police Department executed drug search warrants on a motor vehicle and residence located at 807 North H Street Apt #1 in Oskaloosa where illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia were seized.

As a result of the search warrants one individual was taken to the Mahaska County Jail on drug charges. Zackary A. Wallace age 23 of that residence was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, a class D felony, and fail to affix a drug tax stamp, a class D felony.

According to Jasper County Deputy and Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement member, Wallace was stopped in the 1800 block of Highway 92, in which “He was in possession of more than 600 grams of marijuana.”

As a reminder, a criminal charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
