Debra A. Holub, 57, of Oskaloosa, Iowa passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at the Kavanagh Hospice House in Des Moines, Iowa. Debra Ann Holub, daughter of Herbert and Betty Jean Munsell, was born December 15, 1957.

Debra was a 1976 graduate of Oskaloosa High School and was a member of the first Oskaloosa High School Swim Team. Following high school, she moved to Arlington, TX where she graduated from Bauder Fashion College in June of 1979.

Deb held a variety of jobs in the Oskaloosa area until she went back to school and graduated from Kirkwood Community College in 1992. She then began her career with BP in the customer support area. She worked there until her retirement in 2005.

Deb was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church in Oskaloosa. She had many hobbies that included knitting, beading, shopping, gardening, fishing and the outdoors. She loved spending time with her family and friends.

Her family includes her two sons: Robert Holub (& girlfriend, Candice Sherman) and Justin Holub, both of Des Moines; two sisters: Vickie (& Randy) Wolfe of Oskaloosa and Linda Wheeler of Des Moines; a niece and nephew: Kelsey and Grant Wheeler of Des Moines and longtime friends: Mike Camp, Lisa Phillips and Mary Jane Camp.

In addition to her parents, Deb was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Holub.

Private family services will be held for Debra. Garland-Van Arkel-Langkamp Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made in her name to her family.
