Oskaloosa, IA – The Oskaloosa Public Library is partnering with FACE of Mahaska County to offer free holiday crafting sessions to patrons of all ages this month. The crafting sessions will take place the Mondays and Tuesdays during the second and third weeks of December.

The Make It & Take It crafting sessions will start at 5:30 p.m. each evening and take place in the program room on the first floor of the library. Participants will get to create seasonally inspired crafts: scrapbook greeting cards or melted wax snowflakes. The schedule is as follows:

Monday, December 8 – Scrapbook Greeting Cards, 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, December 11 – Melted Wax Snowflakes, 5:30 p.m.
Monday, December 15 – Scrapbook Greeting Cards, 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, December 18 – Melted Wax Snowflakes, 5:30 p.m.

Library Director William will be leading the scrapbook greeting card sessions, and Briana Bartlett and Sarah Kargol from FACE of Mahaska County will be leading the melted wax snowflake sessions.

Sessions will be limited to 15 participants and registration is required. Participants under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult. You can register at the library’s first floor circulation desk or by calling (641) 673-0441.
