William Penn University Hosts Annual Fill the Stadium/Coaches vs. Cancer Game
William Penn University would like to invite the Oskaloosa community to the annual Fill the Stadium Event on Saturday, October 12 at the Lacey Recreation Complex. The event also marks the annual Coaches vs. Cancer game. The William Penn University football team will kick off at 1:00 p.m. against the Waldorf Warriors. Players, coaches, officials, and fans will be wearing pink to promote cancer awareness.

The event also marks the annual Coaches vs. Cancer game. The William Penn University football team will kick off at 1:00 p.m. against the Waldorf Warriors. Players, coaches, officials, and fans will be wearing pink to promote cancer awareness.
The William Penn dance team, cheer squad and Pride of Penn Marching Band will put on a special pre-game performance in conjunction with students from the Oskaloosa Junior and Senior High Schools.
In appreciation of community support, all Mahaska County elementary through high school students will have free admission to the game. Tickets have been distributed to local school districts’ administrative offices for students to pick up. Students age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Fans will also receive a free pink and white pom pom at the gate.
All guests are encouraged to wear pink as they cheer on the Statesmen. Proceeds from the event will go to the American Cancer Society and Mahaska Health Partnership.
