GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s Frank Canady ’14 of Iowa City, Iowa (West) has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week.

Canady, a qualifier for the NCAA Division III National Championships in 2012, is off to another strong start as he ran a personal-best time of 25:15 at the Les Duke Invitational Saturday. He finished fourth in a field of 166 runners while running the fastest time in the MWC this season.

His clocking ranks 10th in Pioneer program history.

Abrah Masterson of Cornell College was named the MWC Women’s Cross Country Performer of the Week.
