Oskaloosa–Marcus Kerrigan (Sr., Cary, Ill., Sociology) was a very bright spot last Saturday and his efforts were enough to warrant him another Midwest League Special Teams Player of the Week honor.

Kerrigan, now a two-time honoree this fall (12 awards in his career), provided a good chunk of the Statesmen offense in the team’s 31-13 loss to then-#5 St. Francis (Ind.).

The senior’s leg was good for seven points, including an extra point and field goals of 49 and 43 yards.

For the year, Kerrigan is perfect by going 5-for-5 in extra points and 2-for-2 in field goals. It is the second award for WPU this year.
