Monty Python’s Spamalot

OSKALOOSA, IA — Monty Python’s Spamalot, the Tony-Award winning Best Musical of 2005, will visit the fair city of Oskaloosa on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the George Daily Auditorium.

Don’t miss the biggest show of the Daily’s 2012-2013 professional season! Based in New York City, Spamalot tours across the country and will play in cities like Minneapolis, San Antonio, Denver, Washington D.C. and… Oskaloosa!

Lovingly “ripped-off” from the internationally famous comedy team’s most popular motion picture, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python’s Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and their quest for the Holy Grail. Chorus lines of dancing divas and knights, flying cows, killer rabbits, flatulent Frenchmen, and one legless knight are just a few of the reasons audiences everywhere are eating up Spamalot!

Catch an interview with Sir Galahad of King Arthur’s Knights on the 1240 KBIZ’s Mid-Morning Magazine on March 8th at 8:30 a.m. and again at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for students. Get a group together and take advantage of the group discount! Tickets are available from the George Daily Auditorium box office in person or by calling 641-672-0799 or online at www.georgedaily.org.

Sponsored by Musco Lighting. This engagement is supported by the Arts Midwest Touring Fund, a program of Arts Midwest, which is generously supported by the National Endowment for the Arts with additional contributions from the Iowa Arts Council.
