Spring Break Activities Planned for Kindergarten-6th Graders
Are you looking for something fun and inexpensive to do over spring break on March 11-15? “Participants are going to have a blast meeting new people, doing hands-on activities, and gaining skills; we are so excited to be able to offer this experience for youth!” – Kathy Rothfus, YMCA Youth Coordinator. Any youth in Kindergarten-6th grade can take part in our fun-filled Wild’N’Wacky Wellness Week Day Camps. Cost to participate for the whole week is only $15.00! Cost includes all activities, snacks, crafts, and other supplies. Kindergarten-2nd graders will meet from 9:00 AM-Noon and 3rd-6th graders will meet from 1:00-4:00 PM
Camps will be held at the Mahaska County YMCA. Camps are a partnership between United Way of Mahaska County partner agencies 4-H Foundation, Mahaska County YMCA, and Kids’ Corner Child Care. Lots of fun activities have been planned for the week and we only have 15 open enrollment spots for each age group. Anyone already planning to take part in the spring break activities through the Y or Kids’ Corner, will not have to register separately through ISU Extension and Outreach.

Gyro Ring, Lycra Tube, Helium Stick, The Bus, Giant Undies, Trolleys, Foggy Bridge Building, Mysterious Paper, Team Labyrinth, Group Juggle & many more!

Both groups will play noodle hockey, do the obstacle course and play with scooters.
