Iowa Hospice Hosts Volunteer Training
Oskaloosa, IA – Iowa Hospice by Harden Healthcare will hold a volunteer training on Feb. 26, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 212 1st Ave. E in Oskaloosa. During this training, attendees will learn about the hospice process and various volunteer roles, among other topics that will help a potential volunteer decide if this is the right opportunity.
Iowa Hospice is looking for caring, supportive and energetic volunteers to donate their time, effort and talent to hospice patients and their families. Volunteers can make a difference in several ways, including patient care, bereavement support and office/staff support. Activities are flexible and involvement can be altered to fit the volunteer’s schedule.
