Oskaloosa–Two more wins has kept the Lady Statesmen basketball team just outside of the top 25 as the ninth NAIA Division II poll was released Tuesday.

William Penn (17-8, 8-2 MCC) is again #28, but gave up 11 points since last week (31 this week). Grand View holds the top spot in the Midwest Collegiate Conference, improving one position to #22.

It is a fairly split decision at the top with Indiana Wesleyan barely retaining its top spot. IWU has 304 points and six first-place votes, while Ozarks (Mo.) is right on its heels with 303 points and three first-place votes. Eastern Oregon matches its men in third with the final three first-place votes. Morningside and St. Francis (Ind.) round out the poll.

William Penn travels to La Crosse, Wis. Wednesday to face Viterbo in MCC play at 5:30 p.m.
