Oskaloosa, Iowa – William Penn University is hosting a visit day for nurses interested in learning more about the William Penn University RN to BSN degree program. It will be held on Friday, March 22, from 11:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the Oskaloosa campus. During this event, the Director of Nursing, Dr. Brenda Duree, will meet with potential students to answer questions. Visitors will also be given a presentation by the Admissions Office and the Financial Aid Office on the process of applying for financial aid. Lunch will be provided, as well as a tour of William Penn’s beautiful campus. As a thank-you for attending, participants will receive a free t-shirt. The application fee will be waived for those that to apply to the BSN program on the day of the visit.

The RN to BSN degree program at William Penn University allows students to continue working as they attend classes one day a week. Registered Nurses looking to further their career through a management or leadership position are able to apply their education and life experiences as they work toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Requirements for admission into the nursing program include acceptance into William Penn University, a valid unencumbered RN license in the state of Iowa, a completed and accepted criminal background check, and all immunizations and other health status conditions required by clinical agencies.
