Jubilee Family Church’s Positive Preppers Group To Host 9 Week Class

Oskaloosa, IA (February 1, 2013) – Jubilee Family Church’s Positive Preppers Group will be hosting a 9 week hands-on emergency preparation training class for Oskaloosa and surrounding communities.

Positive Preppers (not to be associated with the popular “Doomsday Preppers” television program) has a wide variety of topics that are studied and discussed in depth such as: communication strategy, bio, chemical or nuclear response preparations, food/water prep lists, gardening and canning for storage, man-made or natural disasters, financial preparations, vital information lists, medicines, personal security and many other topics.

The first introductory seminar will take place Sunday, February 10 at 6:00 pm at Jubilee Family Church, 401 South D Street, in Oskaloosa. Facilitator and CERT team member, Curt Block, will share the agenda. The public is welcome. “ Positive Preparation to Prosper Through Perilous Times” is the theme of our class.
