Community Christian Schools play soccer at the Lacey Recreation Complex

Fall gets to be a busy time of the year out at the Lacey Recreation Complex.

William Penn Soccer, YMCA Youth Football, Mahaska County Soccer Club and ASA softball aren’t the only user groups taking advantage of the beautiful weather. The the surrounding Christian grade schools began their soccer season at Lacey this week.

Oskaloosa, Peoria, Sully, and Pella Christian have combined their soccer program allowing the kids a greater opportunity to learn from each other. This season there are 4 teams made up of 60 kids from 6th to 8th grade. Together they are creating friendships, being active and enjoying recreation!
