OSKALOOSA GIRLS GOLF TEAMS OPEN CONFERENCE PLAY AT WILLOW CREEK

OSKALOOSA — The Oskaloosa girls golf teams opened conference play Tuesday at Willow Creek Golf Course, competing in the first of three rounds of the conference meet.

The varsity team finished fifth out of six teams with a team score of 413. The junior varsity team turned in a strong performance, finishing in second place.

The meet showed clear improvement from last season, with both teams taking steps forward. Coaches noted that continued work on putting could lead to lower scores as the season continues.

Several golfers posted notable rounds for Oskaloosa. Kamryn Maddy led the way with a 97, followed closely by Leah Cohrt with a 98. Hayden McCain and Rian Allman each finished with rounds of 109.

With two conference rounds still ahead, Oskaloosa will look to build on this performance and continue improving, especially on the greens where small changes could make a big difference in overall scores.
