Obituary:
James Clay Bost, Jr. was born on January 23, 1947 in Statesville, NC, the son of James Clay Bost, Sr. and Ruth (Brewer) Bost.
He lived in the Knoxville and Harvey areas for many years before moving to Blakesburg. James enjoyed working on cars and loved to watch NASCAR. He also enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, Paige.
James passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center at the age of 64 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Leroy and Jerry; and a sister Judy.
Survivors include his daughters, Tammy Russell of Knoxville, Teresa Bost of Des Moines; granddaughter, Paige Bost of Des Moines; brothers, Tommy Bost, Gary Bost; sisters, Pat (Ed) Marlowe and Carolyn Williams all of North Carolina.
