Obituary:
Ella Jane (Clark) Earl was born April 15, 1936 in Knoxville, Iowa the daughter of Ethan and Mary Elizabeth (Orman) Clark.
She was raised in the Melcher area and attended school there. On June 18, 1950 she was united in marriage to Frank Bingham. To this union seven children were born. Ella lived in several towns through the years, and has been in the Knoxville area for the last 30 years. She was a faithful member of Eden Valley Foursquare Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and canning for her family. Ella also liked mushroom hunting and listening to music. Her greatest joy was family; Ella loved opening her home to family and friends for all of the special gatherings she would host.
Ella passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Pleasant Care Living Center at the age of 74 years, 9 months and 10 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Earl; her grandson, Edward and two sisters: Anna Mae Hendrix and Cora Alice Mitchell.
Ella leaves to mourn her passing, seven children: Mary Elizabeth Dowd of Monroe; Iva Shultz (Ernest) of Monroe; Bob Bingham (Sharon) of Melcher; Chuck Bingham (Lorraine) of Beech; David Lee Bingham of Knoxville; Sarita Diane Caylor (Jason) of Hartford and Sally Rodda (David) of Knoxville; her sister, Sarah “Sally” Trembly (Bob) of Indianola and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and other family members and friends.
