EB Students Selected to SEIBA Honor Band

Emma Haselhuhn, Anna Haselhuhn, and Brooke Lunsford were selected to perform in the SEIBA Honor Band on January 8th

On Saturday January 8th, students from Eddyville Blakesburg Junior High and Eddyville Blakesburg High School auditioned at Fairfield High School for the South East Iowa Bandmasters Association Honor Band.

Emma Haselhuhn was selected to be in the Junior High Honor band. Brooke Lunsford and Anna Haselhuhn were selected to perform in the High School Honor Band. Riley Arnold made it to recalls in the audition process.

The SEIBA Honor Band is the showcase for all of the talented band students in Southeast Iowa. The audition process is the same as the All State Band auditions. A very limited number of the students that audition are actually selected to perform in the band. This is the second year in a row that Emma and Brooke have made it into the honor band. The concert will be on Saturday January 22nd at West High School in Iowa City.
