MCCB’s Annual Bird Food Give Away on Saturday, January 22
The Mahaska County Conservation Board will be holding their Annual Bird Food Give Away from 9:00 a.m. until Noon on Saturday, January 22 at the Russell Wildlife Area. Bring your buckets out to the Conservation Center to get free cracked corn for wild bird feeding. Each family will be limited to ten gallons of cracked corn. Information about bird feeding and bird houses will be available. While you are there, check out the bird blind and feeding station just off the southwest corner of the conservation Center parking lot! For more information, call the MCCB at (641)673-9327.
