Oskaloosa Invitation Boys Golf Results

Osky had 10 golfers play in the Oskaloosa Invitational today at Edmundson Golf Course. The weather worked out well for us as we had sunshine and low winds and it slowly warmed up as the day went along. Osky finished in 7th place out of 16 teams shooting a 336.

Johnathon Terpstra had a very solid round shooting a 77. Johnathon played a very steady, solid round except for one hole and he finished tied for 4th out of 96 golfers. Very impressive!

Tucker DeJong finished the round strong after a frustrating start. He finished with an 81 but shot 38 on the back to finish in a tie for 15th.

Ryan Carriker (88) and Keaton Flaherty continue to show flashes of good golf but they are not satisfied yet. Carter Blanco and Caleb Cohrt were the same way, a few adjustments and they will show more of the scores they want to get to.

We also had 4 JV players in the field, playing alongside varsity competition and gaining some great experience. Nolan Scott (88) led the way for them. Garrett Roethler, Karter Flaherty and Meer Patel did a great job. They competed well and even finished ahead of one team and tied another of the varsity teams.
