Subject In Oskaloosa Burglary And Assault Apprehended In Sigourney

A Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office Press Release

On March 19, 2021, the Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office was notified that the Oskaloosa Police Department was attempting to locate 34-year-old Justin Jordan after an alleged Burglary and Assault in Oskaloosa on today’s date. Keokuk County deputies were able to locate Jordan’s vehicle and confirm he was inside a home in Sigourney. Jordan was eventually taken into custody pursuant to an arrest warrant out of Mahaska County for Burglary 1st Degree. Jordan was checked and cleared by medical staff due to a self-inflicted injury. Jordan was transported to Mahaska County Jail.

Keokuk County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, Sigourney Police Department, Keokuk County Ambulance.

Criminal Charges are merely accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
