Description:
Construct New Airport

· This grant will provide federal funding for a new airport in Iowa.

· This project will construct a new airport to replace the Pella Municipal Airport and Oskaloosa Municipal Airport.

· This grant will fund the first phase, which consists of reimbursement of 78 acres of land. The land purchase was completed in June 2019.

· This grant supports a new airport associated with Pella, Iowa. The local point of contact is Mr. Jim Hansen, Chairperson. Mr. Jim Hansen may be reached at (641) 673-0411.

· Following this grant announcement, FAA will notify the sponsor of the allocation. A grant offer will be issued subsequently for this grant as finally formulated
