School Officials Say Students And Staff Safe After Alleged Threat

In our continuing effort to focus on school safety and communicate effectively, we are sending this notification to inform you that a statement was allegedly made today by a student at Oskaloosa High School which referenced school violence. Immediately, the administration followed procedures to ensure the safety of the building and its students. Law enforcement was notified and after investigation of the situation, it was determined that there was no credible threat. Oskaloosa Community School District will continue to put the safety of its students first and investigate each and every concern as it arises. Again, the statement was determined to be not credible and at no time were the students or staff at Oskaloosa High School at risk.
