Dwayla Ann Baker, daughter of Clarence Mike Manser and Mildred Manser, was born in Warren County, May 19, 1931, and passed away at Circle of Life Hospice Housing in Chariton, IA on 01 /02 /2011, at the age of 79 years old.
On February 28, 1953, she was married to Orlo Baker, who has been her faithful companion for almost 58 years. To this union three children were born, all of whom survived her. They are sons, David Glenn Baker, Douglas Lee Baker and daughter Denise (Pat) McLarnand .
She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Kelly, Ryan, Jana, Keri, Zack, Barbie, Jake, Mitchell, 1 great grandchild Tyler. She is survived by 2 brothers, Darrel Manser and Dwayne Manser.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Mildred Manser, brothers Dwight, Dave, Denny, and Daniel (Red).
Dwayla, spent her childhood & teenage years in Lacona, IA and her adult years in Southern California. She loved sports in general especially Baseball/Softball. In her way she meant something special to each of us.
