For the 6th straight years students and adults form Oskaloosa traveled out to the east coast for an educational spring break. 31 participants this year. They were able to enjoy 4 action packed days, in which 3 out of 4 days were sunny and warm. Some of the sights they took in were: Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, WWII Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Thomas Jefferson Memorial, 9/11 Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, Mount Vernon, White House, United States Capitol Building, Shear Madness Play at JFK Theatre, Ford’s Theatre, Holocaust Museum, African-American Museum, Air and Space Museum, Natural History Museum, Arlington Cemetery, and the Library of Congress.

Three students were able to participate in the Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. A Wreath titled, “Oskaloosa High School’ was set in place by Hayden Williamson, Riley Storm, and Blade VanderBeek
