Mahaska Health Employees Graduate from IHA Quality Residency Training
Mahaska County — The Iowa Hospital Association (IHA), founded in 1929, ensures quality healthcare by training individuals to support hospitals in healthcare guidelines and quality assurance. As an organization, IHA strives to “[represent and support Iowa Hospitals] in achieving their missions and goals.”
As a trusted leader, IHA advocates for the local hospitals and their communities, trains individuals in healthcare-related programs, and serves as Iowa’s healthcare data leader for informational support. IHA exhibits a commitment to engagement, innovation, integrity, and leadership, and therefore Mahaska Health is proud to announce its recent graduates of the IHA Quality Residency Training program.
“We want to recognize and congratulate Ashley Perkins and Sabrena Davis on their hard work to complete this training,” shared Mahaska Health Quality and Population Health Director, Denyse Gipple. Our organization and community will greatly benefit from your engagement and commitment to healthcare quality!
Ashley and Sabrena, along with their class, completed ten learning sessions on topics including healthcare quality improvement, use of data, meeting external requirements, patient safety tools, survey and accreditation, medical staff functions, risk management, and patient and family engagement.
