AOY Winner McCastle Named AOW

Oskaloosa–Cornelius McCastle (So., McKinney, Texas, Industrial Technology) picked up his second Athlete of the Year award and parlayed it into another Midwest Collegiate Conference Men’s Field Athlete of the Week Monday.
McCastle won his fourth weekly laurel (sixth career) by placing high in three events at the MCC Championships.
The sophomore was first in the high jump with a season-high mark of 6-8. He also took second in the triple jump (46-1.25) and third in the long jump (22-9). The sophomore ranks 20th in the nation in the high jump.
The award is the 15th of the year for WPU.
