Des Moines–A number of great showings guided the William Penn track and field squads at the Midwest Collegiate Conference Outdoor Championships Thursday through Saturday.

The Statesmen men were third with 167 points, while the women finished fifth with 55.5 points. St. Ambrose swept the titles with 253 points on both sides.

The sophomore won the high jump at 6-8 and was also second in the triple jump (46-1.25) and third in the long jump (22-9). It is his second AOY award of his career (both this year).
