Royal Court to perform in Knoxville

The Pella Tulip Queen and her Court will be performing for the Marion County Historical Society at 7:30 on Monday April 15 at the Methodist Activity Center in Knoxville. Queen Marlee Bokhoven and her attendants, Elizabeth De Wolf, Erica Schulte, Kate Roozenboom and Heather Van Wyk will entertain with their program entitled, 
“Tulip Time’s Top Ten.” This year’s Royal party is dressed in costumes that would have been worn by women from Friesland in mid-1800’s. Their elegant dresses were sewn by Jackie Craver and
Phyllis Zylstra.

The public is invited to this entertaining preview of Tulip Time to be held May 2, 3, and 4. A Dutch coffee time with home made pastries will be served following the program. MCHS meets the 3rd Monday of each month, March through November, with emphasis on some aspect of Marion County history. For more information contact 641-842-4895 or
