PELLA—Central College slipped to 29th in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III rankings.

Central, 15th in the previous poll, suffered a 27-14 Iowa Conference loss to Loras College (6-8) last Thursday. The Dutch (7-2) also competed at the Central Invitational Saturday, gaining four placewinners despite having most of their regular lineup on the sidelines.

Wartburg College (10-0) remains at No. 1 after capturing its third straight NWCA national duals title Saturday. Coe College (9-4) dropped four spots to No. 12, Luther College (6-5) fell 11 notches to No. 24 and the University of Dubuque (3-5) tumbled 10 slots to No. 26.

The Dutch opened the season at No. 29 and climbed as high as 14th, its best standing since the 1991-92 squad reached No. 5.

Central travels to Crawfordsville, Ind., Saturday for the Wabash College Max Servies Duals. The Dutch meet No. 25 Wabash (6-3) at 9 a.m. (Eastern Time), Knox College (Ill.) (0-4) at 10:45 a.m. and Mount St. Joseph (Ohio) (0-2) at 1 p.m. A final dual against a school in the opposite pool is set for 2:45 p.m.
