GRINNELL COLLEGE’S HAYLEY LEVIN NAMED MWC SWIMMING AND DIVING PERFORMER OF THE WEEK

GRINNELL, Iowa –Grinnell College’s Hayley Levin ’16 (Highland Park, Ill./Deerfield) has been named the Midwest Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week.

That helped complete a Pioneer sweep, as teammate Michael Brus ’14 was named MWC Men’s Performer of the Week.

Levin claimed top honors in the 100-yard breaststroke in the Pioneers’ dual meet with Connecticut College at Naples, Fla. She had a time of 1:10.10 in the event, where she ranks second in the MWC.

She took second in the 400 individual medley in 4:44.74, the second-best time in the league this season, and was also runner-up in the 100 freestyle in 56.49. That time ranks fourth in the MWC.
