OSKALOOSA GIRLS TRACK COMPETES AT BONDURANT-FARRAR
BONDURANT — The Oskaloosa girls track and field team competed Monday night at Bondurant-Farrar, facing strong competition and continuing to show improvement across multiple events.
Tierney Carter led the Indians once again. She won the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.61 and added a third-place finish in the 800-meter run.
Delaney Harbour turned in a strong performance, setting a new personal record in the 400-meter dash. Preslie Bryan also recorded a personal record during her 800-meter split in the distance medley relay.
The meet featured a deep field of teams, giving Oskaloosa a chance to compete against quality competition.
Coaches said they continue to see progress from the team as athletes improve in both individual events and relays.
Oskaloosa will be back in action Thursday when they travel to Newton for a co-ed meet.
