Southern Iowa Fair

Saturday before the Southern Iowa Fair brought many green thumbs out to primp petunias and touch up tomatoes. The 4-Her’s were pleased with the results and these awards were given out:

• Best of Show Vegetable Plate: Kara De Bruin, M&M Peppy Pals – Sweet Corn
• Best of Show Vegetable Tray: Lexi Randau, Scott-U-Need-Us – Cucumbers
• Best of Show Single Flower: Jeb Shaw, Harrison Hustlers – Marigolds
• Best of Show Container Plant: Grace Marshall, Garfield Boosters – Hens and Chicks Pot
• Best of Show Herb: Cyrus Rogers, Harrison Hustlers – Cilantro
